What does an engagement typically cost?
Architecture engagements range from $25k to $80k on a fixed-fee basis. Implementations are typically priced between $30k and $1M depending on scope, with a fixed-fee discovery stage at the outset so the engagement can be discontinued after stage 1 if the fit is not appropriate.
Do you accept stalled projects from other delivery partners?
Yes; this represents approximately one third of our engagements. We commence with a two-week independent review and provide a written recommendation indicating which components to retain, discontinue, or rebuild.
Which sectors do you operate in?
Healthcare distribution, education, childcare, specialty retail, logistics, and professional services. As a matter of policy, we do not accept engagements in adversarial sectors such as gambling and surveillance.
Which platforms is your team experienced in?
Microsoft is the centre of gravity — Fabric, Synapse, Azure (AKS, App Service, SQL), Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Entra ID. On the line-of-business side: Best Practice, Medical Director, HotDoc, HealthEngine, Shopify, Odoo, Cin7, Stripe, Trainerize, Humanforce, intelliHR, MyGo1, SharePoint, and Claromentis. We hold no commercial incentives from any vendor; where an alternative platform would serve your requirements better, we will recommend it.
Is there a minimum engagement size?
We have delivered effective outcomes on engagements starting at $30k. The structure of the problem is a stronger predictor of success than the budget alone. Provide an overview of the engagement and we will assess fit.
Where is the firm based?
Melbourne head office, with an engineering team in Kathmandu. We operate as a single team on Australian business hours and travel to clients across ANZ as engagements require.
